Purpose of Position

Responsibilities for MI production and providing analysis to Internal and External Clients. Ability to convert Client feedback into proactive action plans and ensure these are delivered to enhance our offering. Assist with preparation of Client related communication including bulletins, presentations, intranet updates and tenders.  Work effectively with the Analytics team and the wider Business Services team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, analyse and assess MI and discuss with Internal & External clients to explore opportunities to improve performance
  • Can evaluate existing reporting capabilities and identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Produce management information (MI) from various systems for both Internal and External clients
  • Assist with preparation of Client tender / renewal work
  • Work with the business to provide insights into external and internal processes that could streamline performance
  • Work with the wider team to provide Data and Analytics benefits to Crawford AU, Crawford Asia and Broadspire
  • Produce documentation to explain the MI production processes, the analysis undertaken and assessment of feedback / improvements.
  • Manage data quality and administration of meta data, such as codes and descriptions.
  • Use your Insurance and Claims knowledge to formulate the data required for future MI and the sources of that data


In addition to the above, the job holder will be required to carry out any other function or task that may be expected from them or assigned to them from time to time, within their span of knowledge and ability.

  • External - Crawford clients

Experience/Knowledge Required

  • Good understanding of Client SLA compliance and quality requirements
  • Knowledge of the insurance market, the basic insurance principles and the ability to apply them
  • Knowledge and understanding of standard policy terms and market variations.
  • Extensive knowledge of Client requirements and philosophies
  • Excellent organisation skills to deliver high standards - time, cost, quality, efficiency and value
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate in a concise and open manner
  • Excellent customer service / client relation skills to manage relationships and provide effective dispute resolution
  • Proven efficiency in IT applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
  • Team focused – working with colleagues throughout the business.
  • Pro-active and responsive – responding to daily workloads as dictated by Client requirements,

Innovative and pro-active approach to service improvements.



  • Experienced in the use of PowerBI or similar
  • Good communication / presentation skills
  • Able to communicate well in English


  • Trained and experienced in Tableau
  • Knowledge and experience of Client interaction and management
  • Insurance / Claims Management experience

Able to communicate well in a second language (Mandarin, Cantonese)
