Purpose of Position

Effective validation of indemnity, scope of works and repair cost, ensuring all Contractors comply with the Company’s technical, service and compliance standards, and relationship management of contractors, internal clients & Insurers to promote Contractor Connection usage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validation of building claims including indemnity, scope of works and repair costs
  • Work within Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and business deadlines
  • Compile detailed and accurate Scope of Work or Building Repair Schedule when required.
  • Conduct desktop checks of scope and quotes relating to property damage repairs
  • Liaise with contractors/trades and claims handling staff recording activity within Crawford systems.
  • Produce a high quality written report and accurate repair recommendation based on site related information provided
  • Answer technical queries relating to site repairs and property maintenance issues

Experience/Knowledge Required

  • Minimum 5 years related work experience
  • Domestic & Commercial Buildings Scoping background
  • Excellent customer service, organisational & communication skills
  • IT competent
  • Structured Report writing
  • Proven technical competency

Education/Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Building Repair
  • Trade qualification/experience
  • Desirable  Master Builders Licence or similar
